Because we all come from SACS
The Hessian Club was formed in 2016 by a group of former St Andrew’s Cathedral School (SACS) parents.
The aim of the group is to bring together past parents and friends who wish to maintain contact and interest in our School.
Membership is complimentary for parents and is offered the year your student graduates from school. Long-serving staff members who have left SACS are also invited to become members.
All members of the Hessian Club receive a quarterly e-newsletter Elevate which keeps them in touch with the School, its development and direction; alumni news as well as alerting them to our school calendar highlights such as musicals, plays, special sporting fixtures and upcoming social events. For example, the first Friday night of school musicals and play is a community night, where Hessian and Old Andreans are invited to gather together before attending the performance.
Hessians also continue to support the School by advising students at the career evening Learning the Ropes; being mentors for StartUp; and various other initiatives depending on their interests.
