St Andrew’s Cathedral School has a number of policies to ensure the safety, protection and wellbeing of those in our community. Along with the following policies, we have policies covering student welfare, anti-bullying and discipline which are available on our Parent Portal. About our Privacy Policy

The purpose of this policy is to inform individuals about the practices of the school in relation to personal information provide to or collected by the School. It also serves as a guide to the School’s staff as to the standards to be applied in respect of handling personal information and ensure consistency in the School’s approach.

About our Complaints Handing Policy

The purpose of this policy is to set out the approach of the School in handling complaints made in respect of services provided by the School or against staff, or complaints about the behaviour of a student at the School.

The School has a Child Protection Policy which sets out the School’s approach to child protection, including staff responsibilities and processes that staff must follow in relation to child protection matters.  The Policy also references the Procedures for Handling Allegations of Staff Misconduct and Reportable Conduct which we are required to provide to staff and the broader School community setting out the steps to be taken to report incidents or concerns about staff misconduct and reportable conduct.

About our Whistleblower Policy

The purpose of this policy is to encourage reporting of wrongdoing at the School by providing a safe reporting mechanism and confidence that those who disclose will be protected and supported.
