St Andrew’s Cathedral School’s Music Department and Indigenous school-within-a-school were presented with highly prestigious education awards last week.
The Australian College of Educators (ACE) awarded the entire staff of the Music Department with an Excellence in Education Team Award, to mark their great success in collaboration and teaching in achieving some very impressive marks.
Head of Gawura Mr John Ralph accepted the Community Service & Justice Award on behalf of the school.
The awards were presented by the President of the Australian College of Educators, President Dr Phil Lambert FACE PSM, and well-known education leader Liliana (Lila) Mularczyk OAM, who praised the staff’s outstanding work.
