International tours

A range of overseas tours are offered each year to secondary students and are designed to advance knowledge and gain experience in music performance, outdoor education, languages, sport, history and science.

A range of overseas excursions are offered each year to secondary students to further their experience and understanding in a particular field of study.

Tours are offered by various departments, including languages, sport, science, history, music, outdoor education and geography. Anyone interested in participating in an international tour will initially contact the relevant Head of Department.

St Andrew’s Cathedral School has a long history of organising educational tour groups of students and staff to many parts of the world. These have essentially been designed to advance knowledge and gain experience in music performance, outdoor education, languages, sport, history and science.

These tours provide students with amazing opportunities to extend their breadth of knowledge, experience and wisdom about the world in which they live.

Participation in real-world experiences supplements the curriculum and helps reinforce much of the theory learned in the classroom. Friendships and life experiences developed on tour also enrich the personal development of every student.
