Service Learning – St Andrew's Cathedral School
St Andrew's Cathedral School

Service Learning

The School's service learning programme aims to be sequential, integrated and age-appropriate and is born of a belief that every individual is made in God's image and therefore has dignity and infinite value.

We are motivated by a belief that every individual is made in God’s image and therefore has dignity and infinite value. We view everything in life as ultimately coming from God’s hand and believe that we have been entrusted to use the gifts we have received to care for people in need.

St Andrew’s Cathedral School’s service learning programme aims to be sequential, integrated and age-appropriate. We have partnered with a number of charitable organisations to develop a range of opportunities that enable students to have authentic service-learning experiences.

Our major charitable partners include: Anglicare, Anglican Aid, Rough Edges Outreach Centre in Darlinghurst, 1-One-7 Church Outreach in South Sydney and the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

We also support local Anglican churches serving Sydney’s homeless.
